Our aim is to come together in a friendly atmosphere to sing high quality choral works, giving regular performances in and around Okehampton …
Okehampton Choral Society is a community choir, based in Okehampton.
Rehearsals take place at 7.15 pm on Monday evenings in Fairplace Church, Okehampton, EX20 1DT – followed by tea and biscuits!
The society has been going strong since it was founded by John Holland in 1971.
For concerts we often bring in professional soloists and musicians, sometimes with a full orchestra.
Our current musical director is Jack Oades
Anyone who wants to come and sing with us is very welcome.
There is no audition, and you can join us for three practices without committing to membership.
If you would like to try us out, please email enquiries@okechoralsociety.org.uk, or come and meet us at a rehearsal.
